Exemptions
Under certain circumstances the legislation allows institutions to still send people certain types of email. Examples of such email include:
- Financial Receipts
- Collection Letters
- Admissions Communications
- Financial Aid Bursary/Scholarship Communications
- Class or Exam schedule changes and Emergency notifications
In addition, if you have your myCentennial email forwarded to an external email address like Hotmail or Gmail for example, you will continue to receive email until you go into myCentennial and remove the forwarding.
