Description If you've ever wondered how automotive damage is appraised and thought it would be an interesting area to work in, this course can help you get your foot in the car shop. You'll learn the methods and procedures for estimating collision damage, including flat rate schedules, labour rate computing, adjusting forming discounts, releases, report writing, business procedures, policies and refinishing. Because, legalities around automotive damage are also important, the course will look at the legal responsibilities of insurance companies, collision shops and vehicle owners. To round out the training, hands-on lessons in the latest auto appraisal technology will teach you to analyze vehicle damage and create computerized estimates.
