Description CCNA 3 advances the study of the architecture, components, and operations of wide area networks. The
course explores dynamic routing, firewalls, VPN concepts, network automation, virtualization and a
selection of WAN technologies.
This is the final of three courses that are designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for
successful completion of the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) examination. By the end of this
course, students will be able to configure and troubleshoot OSPF, ACL, NAT and IPsec in IPv4 and IPv6
wide area networks.
The student will reliably demonstrate the ability to:
1. Discuss Metro Ethernet, MPLS, DMVPN, and other WAN technologies
2. Configure single-area and multi-area OSPF in IPv4 and IPv6 networks
3. Troubleshoot OSPF in broadcast and point-to-point networks
4. Discuss network security issues and concepts
5. Configure and troubleshoot ACL and NAT
6. Describe IPsec protocol encapsulation, confidentiality, and integrity
