Description Designed for students who have completed CNC Lathe, levels 1 and 2, this course focuses on advanced lathe setups, complex radial tangential toolpaths, high speed machining, and program and cycle time optimization. Consideration will be given to the selection of surfacing tooling and coatings, optimizing chip load, tool arcs, as well as roughing and finishing pass optimizations. Students will be taught advanced speeds and feeds calculations to optimize setups and cycle times.
