Description | Designed for students who have completed CNC Mill, levels 1 and 2, this course focuses on advanced mill setups, complex surfacing toolpaths, high speed machining, and program and cycle time optimization. Consideration will be given to selection of surfacing tooling and coatings, optimizing chip load, tool ramping, and roughing and finishing pass optimizations. Students will be taught advanced speeds and feeds calculations to optimize setups and cycle times. |
