Description This online lab provides students with the best practices for cleaning and disinfection in a healthcare setting. The students will gain experiential learning with embedded interactive content. The content includes Factors of Cleaning and disinfection, operations of environmental services equipment and cleaning systems, frequencies of routine and precautions cleaning, proper handling and disposal of medical waste and processing healthcare laundry and the distribution of linens systems.
Notes A minimum grade of 50% (D) is required in each of the practical and theoretical components to pass each course. Attendance is mandatory.
