The online module will be sent to you no later than the Monday prior to your scheduled in-class session via YOUR PERSONAL PREFERRED EMAIL ADDRESS (NOT your my.centennial address) that is on file with the College. The First Aid standard for healthcare professionals and first responders with a duty to respond, this comprehensive two-day course includes a Standard First Aid with CPR Level C (SFA-C) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care and medical professionals who require both SFA and BLS certifications. Designed to build confidence in performing First Aid & CPR skills in a health care team environment, as a nurse, personal support worker, paramedic, allied healthcare provider (registered massage therapist, occupational therapist or physiotherapist) or dental professional you will greatly benefit from this training. This course results in a one-year certification in Basic Life Support and a three-year certification in Standard First Aid with CPR Level C. Basic Life Support must be renewed each year.
