| Description | This introductory course is a practical study of creative photography as applied to digital imaging. Students will produce their own photographic images using films and digital cameras and edit and manipulate this using the Macintosh operating system and Adobe Photoshop. There will also be an introduction to incorporating images within Adobe Illustrator. A successful student will produce a portfolio of imagery. This course is a necessary preparation for Semester Two courses including VISU115, Digital Art & Design Studio, VISU117 and Introduction to Communication Media. |
