Description:	Starting April 1, 2025, Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) applying to become Registered Nurses (RNs) or Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) in Ontario, must meet a new Transition to Practice (TTP) requirement. This ensures they are familiar with the competencies specific to practicing safely within the Canadian context of practice. Centennial College offers a Transition to Nursing Practice in Ontario course for IENs, approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Successfully completing this course fulfills the 9th requirement for CNO registration.
