Data models can be used with various tool sets such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) Class Diagrams, spreadsheets, or State Transition Diagrams. Data modeling is understanding the data better so you can suggest compromises and understand the risk factors that accompany them. All of the models used in this course are designed with the purpose of simplifying complex information into real world designs. |
