Additional purchase: Field Practicum Manual available at the college bookstore (please bring this to your first seminar class). Notes: 1. This is a planned experience of 25 days (eight hours per day) with one five day block if possible in a Centennial College approved field setting under supervision, plus six hours of seminars. Once registered, please email Lynn Haines at lhaines@centennialcollege.ca to arrange your placement. All students are required to attend the first Seminar Class for Field Orientation or you will not be able to start your placement this semester (all seminars are mandatory for success). 2. A current Police Reference Check, Medical and First-Aid/CPR Certificate are required for the Practicum. Please obtain before class begins and bring to the first Seminar. 3. Prior Learning and Recognition (PLAR) is not granted for this course. |
