Description | Centennial College has developed a graduate level course providing accessible, relevant learning opportunities for students who wish to specialize in infection prevention and control. Designed to give students supervised practical application to improve assessment, problem solving and decision making skills in a controlled clinical environment. This comprehensive 200-hour clinical placement covers all main aspects of infection prevention and control and is self-directed to complement students unique experience.
The fee for this course is $2000.00 Objectives: 1. Apply theoretical concepts from Basic Infection Prvention and Control course to delivery of patient care within the health care setting 2. Improve your problem solving and decision-making skills as related to infection prevention and control 3. Develop your expertise in your leadership role as IPAC professional that contributes meaningful information to the health care team 4. Self directed learning opportunity as students assess their particular learning needs |
