Description	This course will provide the RN perioperative student with an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts and principles of perioperative nursing practice acquired from NP 411. The learner will be expected to apply theoretical concepts and principles of perioperative nursing practice as they develop competency in skills related to specific scenarios for both the scrub and circulating roles. In a simulated perioperative setting, the learner will practice the scrub and circulating roles and the skills of perioperative nursing according to the ORNAC standards. Emphasis is placed on the provision of safe, individualized patient focused care and the utilization of effective communication skills within a multi-disciplinary team. THE 2024/25 ACADEMIC YEAR IS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION.
