Topics covered in this course include: tool manipulation, colour, type and filter effects, custom drawing and image editing, creating custom design templates, and working with layers and masking techniques. Adobe Illustrator employs a practical approach as you complete assignments that mimic real-life projects. Assignments include designing a company logo, creating business cards and a letterhead using the logo you created, creating a business report with a dynamic cover page, table of contents and back page; creating a company's website homepage, and more. Completion of this offering will see you demonstrate the ability to: • Create digital illustrations using Illustrator tools; • Explore how Illustrator can be used to design and build corporate identities; • Understand how to design in a print and Web environment. |
