Description In this 120-hour long course you will apply theoretical knowledge, skills and attitudes to the practice setting in an activity department of a long-term care institution. Participate in the needs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities to meet psychosocial, physical and spiritual needs of aging adults. Also practice communication skills and implement the process of self evaluation.
Notes All are welcome to attend the one evening information class for the practicum. If you are ready for your practicum please bring proof of the pre-requisites for the program.
