Description We live in a world where change, and the rate of change, is constantly increasing. In order to survive and prosper, organizations need to continually modify and examine their capacity for change, investigate ways to improve their functioning and performance and identify how organizational systems can coexist to produce sustainable results. Through an integrated examination of both Organizational Development (OD) theory and practice, this course provides you with solid exposure to the key elements of OD, an examination of the process of OD, the core competencies of the OD practitioner role, the nature of planned change, leading and managing change, performance management, work design, managing workforce diversity and future directions in Organizational Development. Through the use of case study examples, this online course will allow you to connect to "real world" challenges and issues that face organizations today.
