| Description | What happens to our creative imagination in states of collective emergency? What do we write about when the world around us is thrust into chaos? Do we look backwards, attempting to retrieve a rapidly disappearing world? Do we turn our gaze to the future, grasping to depict what has yet to be realized? Or are we, for better or worse, jettisoned into the uncertainty of the present? This ten-week workshop will use a combination of prompts and reading assignments to help you turn the chaos and intensity of this historical moment into works of creative writing. Look forward to sharing your work with a published author and a community of supportive peers. |
