Description	Through an examination of the complex and social roots of violence, and the reasons for conflict within the family, you will develop methods for identifying the abused child and determine proactive ways to provide protection. In this course students will learn to recognize the indicators of child abuse and understand reporting procedures, so that they can make a difference in the life of a child. Prerequisite: Completion of the previous three units including practicums
