Description | CCLI-100 - Leadership and Inclusion: Understanding Todays Workplace
This introductory course gives you an awareness of the importance and role of inclusive leadership in an increasingly globalized workplace. Through an examination of current practices, you will discover the relationship between the dimensions of diversity, equity and inclusion. CCLI-200 - Leadership and Inclusion: Building Capacity for Inclusive Leadership Modern leadership requires self-awareness, authenticity and an understanding of your own values and behaviours. In this course, you will investigate your own identity and values and how these intersect within the workplace as well as explore the tension between personal and organizational values and identify strategies that develop and support your own growth as an inclusive leader. CCLI-300 - Leadership and Inclusion: Cultivating Cultures of Inclusion through Organizational Change This course provides you with the skill of inclusive leadership and organizational change. You will consider how the principles of diversity and equity shape leadership and guide organizations to become more inclusive. You will also analyze leadership and change models to find effective and inclusive workplace policies and practices. By applying knowledge and tools introduced in this course, you will begin to explore your own work environment. CCLI-400 - Leadership and Inclusion: Effective Practices and Policies for Inclusion and Inclusive Leadership This course emphasizes inclusive effective practices in the workplace and examines the implication of different influencers (e.g., human rights legislation) on organizational policies and procedures. Using various case studies, you will examine, compare and comment on existing organizational practices through the lens of inclusive leadership. At the end of the course, you will be able to communicate a persuasive rationale that promotes and supports diversity, inclusivity, and equity in the workplace. Notes | We ask that you take the Leadership and Inclusion courses in order of sequence to gain the full benefit of the learned outcomes; CCLI100, CCLI200, CCLI300, CCLI400
We offer 3 intakes per year: January, May and September. Each course is 7.5 weeks in duration, 30 hours of content which is approximately 4 hours of online asynchronous learning study each week, hours are based on your personal schedule. Follow the Course Outline as provided by your professor to ensure you meet your due dates for all assignments and/or group discussions. Once you have successfully completed ALL four (4 ) of the CCLI courses; 100, 200, 300, 400 with a P-Pass final grade you will earn your Centennial College Certificate in Leadership and Inclusion studies. |
