Description This micro-credential course will teach students and professionals the basics of Unreal Engine as a tool for virtual production and virtual set design and give them an opportunity to create high quality environments that can be used on an LED wall. Students will learn how to import and transform high-resolution media content, consistent physically based rendering (PBR) surface, vegetation, and 3D scans to create photorealistic virtual environments. Students will also be exposed to scripting using Unreal Engine’s node-based visual scripting tool, Blueprint, and will learn how to add interactivity to their virtual sets. It will be in-person offered at Story Arts Centre (SAC).
