This micro-credentials contain industry's highest in-demand skills-based training, delivered in a condensed format. This relevant training with Access to state-of-the-art equipment and labs for experiential learning developed in collaboration with the Canadian Plastics Industry to improve your marketability or expansion of career paths.

The Injection Molding lab is a 40 hours online training: 1 hour/week virtual teacher-led and 3 hours/week In-person Labs for 10 weeks that will provide training in the setup and processing of injection molding machines.

Students will learn how to install molds and initiate the manufacturing process and perform quality control to ensure that the manufactured parts comply with customers' requirements. Students will also learn the basic principles and applications of material properties, tools, and part design. This will enable them to improve the Advanced Manufacturing process to maximize productivity.

Upon successful completion of completing a Micro-credential, learners will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement and Industry digital badges where applicable.
Admission Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or General Education Development (GED), or equivalent; OR Mature Student Status (19 years or older)
