| Description: | This course is designed to provide the opportunity for RNs to develop the skills required to participate as members of the multidisciplinary intensive care team. Case study discussion will assist the RN to further develop critical thinking skills. In-depth study in the areas of hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical ventilation will be highlighted. Twelve lead EKG interpretation skills will also be developed. PLEASE NOTE: Students need to complete CECC-401 (Critical Care Concepts 1) and CECC-402 (Critical Care Concepts 2) in order to take this course. |
