Description This is the final classroom-based course in the Early Childhood Education-Special Needs Post-Diploma Program. It is designed to give the student the opportunity to academically consolidate and focus the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program. Focusing independent research into a specific aspect of special needs, the student will be given the opportunity to share their research findings, in a workshop format, with classmates, faculty and colleagues. Presentation skills and knowledge of the adult learner will be explored and utilized while developing the workshop. The class will collaborate to organize and facilitate a professional conference that will serve as a forum for the student's workshop presentations.
