Description Linux/UNIX is a comprehensive operating system with numerous features and capabilities that support multi-user, multi-tasking and interactive computing environments for individuals and organizations. This certificate program will provide you with a strong foundation on Linux/Unix operating systems by making use of step-by-step, hands-on NDG and custom lab activities as well as an array of assessment types and tools. The courses will leverage the advanced flexibility and capabilities of the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) learning environment to implement a "practice as you read" approach to learning. The program will prepare you for entry-level positions as a software developer or Linux administrator as well as roles in cybersecurity operations.
Notes 1. The program/courses align with exam objectives of the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Linux Essentials Professional Development Certificate and Domain 2.1 of the CompTIA A+ Certification 220-902 exam.
2. The above courses are being offered via Cisco NetAcad. Upon successful completion and achieving the required marks, a discount exam voucher may be available.
